TERMS OF AGREEMENT FOR THE WORK SEEKER
General – This is a statement of the policies of Automation Experts Ltd, and describes the general working procedures followed in the recruitment process for permanent vacancies or contract assignments.
We operate as an Employment Agency; we do not guarantee to find you work, although we use our best endeavours to match you to available jobs and actively seek new vacancies matching your requirements.
We have a legitimate interest to retain your data in order to supply you with relevant job opportunities in your specialist field.
Our services are commissioned and paid for by our clients, the hirers. We do not charge fees to permanent candidates or contractors.

Your details will be retained for a maximum period of ten years. Direct contact will be made via telephone, email, post, LinkedIn or text to advise of opportunities matching your requirements.
You may at any time request for your details to be removed and have all records destroyed, except if you have been hired or short listed for a job, in which case we are required by law to keep the information for at least 12 months. If you wish to have your details removed at any time, please send an email to our Data Protection Officer.

Confidentiality – As members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, we are bound by their Code of Conduct. CVs sent to clients are not re-written except for re-formatting and minor corrections where necessary. Your contact details are only supplied to a client to arrange an interview or when an offer of employment is to be made.
Formal investigation or checking of information supplied will only be carried out with your specific permission, as will References when a job offer has been made or is being considered.
Employment Agency Regulations
Employment Agency Regulations oblige us to obtain certain information from clients and applicants along with confirming suitability from both parties before an applicant is shortlisted for interview.
In the case of work seekers we must have;
- A CV including details of education, professional qualifications, training, skills and work experience which are required by law or professional body
- An assurance that you can provide documentary proof of your identity, your academic achievements and professional qualifications and the right to work in the UK.
- At interview stage we will need copies of documents confirming your identity, right to work and confirming any qualifications which are relevant to the application.
Information supplied by you in support of applications for vacancies or contract assignments is assumed to be accurate and true. Anything which is found on investigation to be untrue may make you in the hirer’s opinion, unsuitable for the job and we are obliged by law to bring such matters to the hirer’s attention. If information is received that you are unsuitable for a vacancy, we will inform you immediately, although for legal reasons we are required to inform our client of such information, even if this is after you have been hired.
We will not introduce you to a client if we consider for Health & Safety or any other reason that it is not in the best interest of the client or you to do so.
We accept no liability for any consequences arising from you making use of the opportunities offered by our clients.
Our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you as the result of your use of our services is limited to your actual direct damages and, except in the case of fraud, excludes any loss of future earnings, profit or prospects or any consequential or speculative loss. As required by law, this exclusion does not extend to death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
